Crochet – Hækle -Heklað

Ballerina doll – crochet

As the test knit for my Havthorn sweater is on going, I made these 2 dolls, they were a request from a family member and it took me some time to figure out how to make them, that is why they are 2 different sizes. The bigger one is approx. 33 cm and the smaller one is about 28 cm.

Oak Of Life

I just finished the Oak Of Life shawl by @me.and.my.yarn free pattern on her website.

I have been home with influenza and I just had to feel like I was getting something done. So happy with the result, my second time making a shawl. 😁
The shawl is not washed nor have I done the blocking, yet… but it looks great!!!

For the project I used:
Hobbii Metallico Rosaline (05) using 4 skeins of the main color.
Hobbii Metallico Rose Gold (18) using 1.5 skeins of the second color.

I am a tight crocheter (amigurumi damage). I made the puff sts with 4 yo not 3 yo, as the designer shows in the video tutorial (but I did do 3 yo on the first, edge puff sts).

Christmas Elf Hat

I made these for my boys (not using a pattern) and they were very happy.

Using up almost 1 skein of Scheepjes Colour Crafter in the Red & in the Green.
Also using, for both hats, one skein Scheepjes Panda for the brim and pom poms, and using approximately 90-100 meters of the white Scheepjes Colour Crafter along with the Scheepjes Panda.

This is how I made the hats:
Using 5,5 mm hook and Scheepjes Colour Crafter using the Camel stitch (Half Double Crochet in the 3rd loop, stitch).

crochet 10 rows hdc in third loop (76) <- size for my 14 year old and my (big headed) 9 year old.

Try the hat on as you crochet and just keep adding stitches to find the size needed.
Depending on the size, the 8 rows and 10 rows are part of the last parts of the hat, to fit the head and not be to snug.

Brim:

Using 5,5 mm hook and 2 threads, white color, Scheepjes Panda & Scheepjes Colour Crafter.

Join the yarn around the back post of a stitch and chain 8.
Work the brim in the opposite direction from previous work.
Sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and sc in the next 6. (7)

  1. Sl st around the back post of the next 2 stitches on the hat and turn. Do not work into the sl sts.
  2. Sc in the BLO, across (7). Ch 1 and turn.
  3. Sc back down (7).

Repeat from 1-3 until the brim is complete, turn the hat inside out and slip stitch through both sts to close the gap.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Pom poms:

Using 2 threads, white color, Scheepjes Panda & Scheepjes Colour Crafter to make the pom poms.

Icelandic horse – crochet

I just finished these two, Icelandic horse ragdoll by K. Godinez (godinez on Ravelry), the pattern can be found on her website amilovesgurumi.

The idea is a part of a wedding gift for my dad and his wife to be… Just need to find a frame and fasten them in place. 😀

Dilecto – amigurumi

ENG: The pattern for Dilecto is now available, to buy, on Ravelry, Etsy and Ribblr.

DK: Opskriften på Dilecto kan nu købes på Ravelry, Etsy og Ribblr.

My youngest son drew this one. I then went to work to crochet this figure for him as I wrote the pattern down, together we made sure it looked the way he wanted and now we have this cute unique stuffed teddy.
