Knitting – Strikke -Prjóna

Next project in the works

Hoping to get this pattern done in the near future, I am working on it…

I started by using the wrong yarn for this project, unfortunately the fibers from the blue color was getting mixed into the white color.

It did not look good, so I went for a different yarn and now need to make some adjustments to the pattern.

1st Test knitting almost done

So the test knitting of my first knitting pattern is almost done, I am very excited. I just finished testing size small, I think it looks good and I am happy with the result. One more test-knitting and soon I will be able to publish the pattern on Raverly.

Finger gloves – Iron man style

So, my youngest son (8 years), is a superhero fan… and one of his favorites is Iron Man, after asking (nagging) me, for some time, to make Iron man finger gloves, I gave in…

I just used a pattern from Drops design English (Danish version) just for the gloves and then crochet the center, sewing that on and he was happy… but now he wants more, more gloves, socks and even knitted/crochet mask for ALL the superheros he loves.

Silly me to think that if he got these he would stop, I just poked the bear!!!

Colorful Stitched pullover

Just finished making this pullover and writing the pattern as well…

My second knitting pattern is this Colorful stitched pullover.

The Colorful stitched pullover is a simple top down raglan with a curling neck(line) and bishop sleeves, with decoration between the colors that gives the illusion as if the colors are stitched together, making the pullover a little playful and makes the colors stand out. The pullover is not hugging the body tightly, part of my cozy, chunky, funky style/design.

Hopefully soon the pattern will be undergoing the test knitting process and will be available via Raverly, when it is ready, at my designer page. https://www.ravelry.com/designers/gribbadk

Herringbone pullover

This pullover, I made without a pattern and I am not at that point where I have models, make-up artist and professional photographs of my work, just me wearing my finished sweater and I am very happy with the result. 😀

This is my first knitting pattern. First time ever writing it, scaling it in size and making something without a pattern.

The Herringbone pullover is a bottom up, knitted in the round pullover with a knitted herringbone pattern around the waist, loosely hugging the waist. The pullover is spacious around the bust & body with a wide neckline and bishop sleeves with high cuffs. The pullover is not snug around the body, part of my cozy, chunky, funky design/style.

As of now the pattern is undergoing the test knitting process and will be available via Raverly, when it is ready, at my designer page.https://www.ravelry.com/designers/gribbadk
